With that said, I recently made another set of coasters, using the same steps that I posted here. This time I found an even BETTER deal on coasters... an 8 pack of circle coasters for 50 cents (originally $1) at Michael's!!! Score! I found some really pretty Old World scrapbook paper and went to work with my Mod Podge.
Here is how they turned out...
Cute right?? I made them for a Christmas gift...but I am not sure I can part with them! :) Have you tried making any Mod Podge coasters with pretty scrapbook paper yet?? If not, you really should! It's a great gift...for yourself or someone else! :) Quick, easy, inexpensive, and handmade. The best gifts are handmade ya know...
Edited to add: Spray a thin coat of clear spray paint on your coaster after the last coat of Mod Podge has dried (I waited 24 hours). This prevents damage to your coasters when you cold beverage "sweats."
I am linking this project to the fab linky parties located at the top of my page under "Linky Parties!"
I am also entering the Mod Podge challenge at The CSI Project!

This looks like fun! Do you think using Outdoor Modge Podge will be ok instead of regular and having to seal it?
